Bel-Ray Company, Inc. – the leading USA-based lubrication manufacturing company is pleased to announce the continuation of their partnership with Honda New Zealand, Bel-Ray Honda Racing. The team will compete in both the MX1 and MX2 class in the 2013 New Zealand Motocross Championship beginning in February.
Following a successful first year supporting the team in which Ben Townley won the MX1 Championship; Bel-Ray has returned to further cement themselves as the premier powersports lubricant choice for racers in New Zealand and across the globe.
The 2013 team will feature the return of Ben Townley, Justin McDonald, Michael Phillips and Cameron Dillon along with the addition or rising star Micah McGoldrick.
The pairing of Bel-Ray’s powersports lubricants un-matched power and protection and Honda’s handling and reliability, the team has an advantage on the competition even before the gate drops.
“Winning the championship with Ben last season was a great way to start our partnership and we look forward to the team’s success again this season,” said Bel-Ray Chief Operating Officer, Jennifer Liquori. “Long recognized as the premier lubricant supplier to champions, Bel-Ray’s commitment to excellence and performance is unrivaled in the sport. Our race what we sell philosophy means the products used by the team are the same products you can buy from your local dealer.”
“2012 was a great year for Team Bel-Ray Honda,” said race team coordinator, Peter Finlay. He added, “We won a lot of races and we took home the MX1 National Championship with Ben Townley. Our focus is now firmly on the 2013 series and we are very pleased to again be using Bel-Ray’s high quality products”.
